About Cookies

This policy explains which cookies video-editor.com uses, what each one does, and how you can control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let the site remember things between page loads and across visits — which pages you looked at, whether you have seen a notice, and similar.

Some are set by us, some by services we use. Some disappear when you close the browser, others stay for a set period.

Our software does not use cookies. KlikSync runs locally on your machine and has nothing to do with anything described on this page. This policy covers the website only.

Cookies We Use

Essential

Needed for the site to work. They keep pages loading correctly, remember form state, and protect against abuse. The site cannot function without them, so they are always active.

Set by Webflow, our hosting platform.

Analytics

Tell us how the site is used — which pages get read, how people arrive, where they leave. We use this to decide what to write and what to fix. The data is aggregated; we do not use it to identify individuals.

Set by Google Analytics. Typical lifetime ranges from the browser session up to two years.

Marketing

Measure whether people who arrive from an ad or a social post go on to do something useful, such as reading the documentation or buying a licence.

Set by Meta Pixel where present.

Payment

When you buy software you are handed over to Lemon Squeezy, which sets its own cookies to run the checkout securely. Those cookies fall under their policy, not ours.

Managing Cookies

In your browser

Every major browser lets you see stored cookies, delete them, and block new ones. The controls are usually under Settings, then Privacy.

Blocking all cookies is your right, but essential cookies are part of how the site runs — without them some things will not work as expected.

Opting out of analytics

Google provides a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from collecting data on any site you visit. Search for the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to install it.

Third-party policies

Cookies set by Google, Meta and Lemon Squeezy are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. If you want to know exactly what they store, those policies are the authoritative source.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The current version is always the one published here.
