Video Editing Services

How we work, what to send us, how revisions run, and what you get back. Everything you need to know before starting a project with us.

How We Work

Every project runs through the same four stages, so you always know where things stand.

1 — Brief

You tell us what the video is for, who it's for, and what it needs to achieve. We agree on scope, deadline, and price before any work starts.

2 — Footage handover

You send us the footage and any brand assets. See What to Send Us for the full list.

3 — First cut

We deliver a first cut for review. You watch it, leave timestamped comments, and we work through them together.

4 — Delivery

Once approved, we export in every format you need and send the final files.

What to Send Us

The more context we get up front, the fewer revision rounds the project needs.

Always send

  • All raw footage, untrimmed and in the original format
  • Separate audio files if you recorded sound externally
  • A short brief — goal, audience, and the message the video should land
  • Target duration and the platforms it will be published on

Send if you have them

  • Brand guidelines — fonts, colours, logo files
  • Intro and outro templates as project files, not rendered video
  • LUTs or colour grade presets you want us to match
  • Reference videos — one that shows the look you want, one that shows what to avoid
  • Music you have already licensed

How to send it

Any large file service works — Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or a shared NAS. Keep the original folder structure intact.

Revisions

Revisions are part of every project. Here is how they run.

How to give feedback

Timestamped comments are far more useful than a written summary. Tell us the exact second and what should change — “0:42 hold this shot two seconds longer” beats “the middle feels rushed”.

What counts as a revision

Adjusting pacing, swapping shots, changing text, colour tweaks, and audio balance are all normal revision work.

What counts as new scope

Changing the concept, restructuring the whole edit, or adding footage that wasn't in the original brief is new work rather than a revision. We will always flag this before starting and agree on it with you first.

Delivery Formats

We deliver in whatever format your platform needs. Tell us the destinations at briefing stage and we export for all of them in one pass.

Common deliverables

  • YouTube and web — H.264 MP4, 1080p or 4K
  • Instagram, TikTok, Reels — vertical 9:16, reframed rather than cropped
  • Broadcast and agency — ProRes or DNxHR master
  • Archive — high bitrate master you can re-export from later

Captions and subtitles

We can deliver burned-in captions, a separate SRT file, or both.

Project files

If you need the editable project file for your own team, tell us at briefing stage so we prepare and organise it for handover.

Refund Policy

Video editing is custom work produced to your brief, so it is handled differently to a software purchase.

Before work starts

If you cancel before we have started editing, any deposit is refunded in full.

After work has started

Once editing is underway, the deposit covers the time already spent and is non-refundable. If you cancel mid-project, you receive the work completed to that point.

If the result isn't right

We work through revisions until the edit matches the brief. If we cannot deliver something that meets the agreed brief, we will discuss a partial or full refund depending on how much of the work was usable.

FAQ

What kind of projects do you take on?

Commercials, product videos, interviews, event coverage, podcast video, social content, and long-form YouTube. If you are not sure whether your project fits, ask.

Do you work with international clients?

Yes. Most of our clients are international. Everything runs remotely — footage in, finished video out.

Can you match our existing brand style?

Yes, and this is where most of the quality difference comes from. Send your brand guidelines, existing videos, and any templates you use, and we work inside that system rather than applying our own look.

Do you also shoot?

Yes. We work with a dedicated cinematographer and cinema-grade equipment. Tell us what you need and we can quote for production as well as post.

What about colour grading and sound?

Both are part of the standard workflow, not add-ons.

How do we start?

Send us a message with what you are working on. We reply within 24 hours on business days.
