KlikSync Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of KlikSync, a software product developed and sold by Video Editor ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Bogdan, CEO, at office@video-editor.com, www.video-editor.com.

By purchasing or using KlikSync, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the software.

1. The Product

KlikSync is a Windows desktop application for multicam audio and video synchronization. It processes XML timeline files exported from Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve and returns a synchronized XML file. It does not modify your original media files.

2. License

Upon purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use KlikSync on your own computers.

You may:

Install KlikSync on multiple computers that you personally own or operate
Use KlikSync for personal and commercial projects
Use KlikSync as part of a professional video editing workflow

You may not:

Sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or transfer your license to any third party
Share your license key or purchase credentials with others
Redistribute or resell the KlikSync software or installer
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
Use KlikSync for any unlawful purpose

3. Payment

KlikSync is sold as a one-time lifetime purchase with no subscription or recurring charges. Payment is processed through Lemon Squeezy. By completing a purchase, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's payment terms in addition to these Terms.

All prices are listed in USD. We are not responsible for currency conversion fees or charges applied by your bank or payment provider.

4. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the KlikSync Refund Policy, available at www.video-editor.com/kliksync-refund-policy. A summary:

7-day refund window from the date of purchase
We will attempt to resolve your issue before processing a refund
No refunds after 7 days
No refunds for incompatible operating systems — check system requirements before purchase

5. System Requirements

KlikSync requires Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit). It is not compatible with macOS, Linux, or any other operating system. It is your responsibility to verify compatibility before purchase.

6. Updates and Continuity

All updates to KlikSync are free for existing license holders. New versions are published at www.video-editor.com/kliksync and can be downloaded and installed at any time.

We are committed to maintaining and improving KlikSync. However, we reserve the right to discontinue development, updates, or support at any time, with no obligation to provide further versions or assistance beyond what is currently available. Discontinuation of development does not entitle you to a refund unless it occurs within the 7-day refund window.

7. Intellectual Property

KlikSync, including its code, design, interface, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Video Editor. All rights are reserved. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You receive a license to use the software, not ownership of it.

8. Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to process your purchase — handled by Lemon Squeezy. We do not collect data from your use of KlikSync. The software runs entirely locally on your machine and does not transmit any data to our servers or any third party.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

KlikSync is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every system configuration or footage format.

We do not guarantee specific sync results. Output quality depends on the quality and preparation of your source footage and timeline. Please review the documentation before use.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Video Editor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use KlikSync — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of KlikSync shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted at www.video-editor.com/kliksync-terms. Continued use of KlikSync after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Novi Sad, Serbia.
